Final update. Airline needed volunteers to give up their seats and fly out tomorrow. Offered $1,000 person. We ran the numbers - $2,000 - $300 for hotel would net us $1,700. We went for it. End result, we each got $1,200. I booked room at the Aloft hotel near SeaTac for $293.38 Score!
